I am very excited about the Weekly Photo Challenge!
We are blessed to live in the best place in the word. Cape Town is any photographer’s dream when it comes to sunset photos. Every single day offers the opportunity to capture a new scene and no two days are the same. Here are my two personal favorites. My fingers itch for the day when I can hold a camera again!

Are you as comfortable in front of a camera as behind one? Being written about, as well as writing?
I’m definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, a behind the scenes kind of girl. I lost the ability to be photogenic somewhere around my 13th birthday and I simply don’t make for good pictures. On the other hand, I love taking pictures. I got that from my mom and my next big goal is to get myself a (reasonably) decent camera again. For now the Berry will have to do.
As far as being written about, I’m not sure. No one has ever really written something about me, so I guess I will have to wait and see. I suppose it would not be a problem, as long as all the facts are correct. Facts are very important to me!
On Turning the Tables:
This week’s Weekly Photo Challenge asks us to post a photo which brings a sense of nostalgia to us.
For some reason I have been thinking a lot about life and our mortality lately. When my mom posted this photo on Facebook, it brought such a sense of nostalgia, I just knew that it was the right one for this challenge. It’s a photo of me (on the left), my sister (who passed away in 2005 in the middle) and my brother (on the right) WAY back when. It brings back so many memories and I wish with all my heart we could once again sit down together for a meal or just to talk nonsense!
